REPORTS TO:
Vice President, Telecom Industrial Control Group
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Communicate with existing and potential customers in verbal and written form; i.e., phone, fax, e-mail, EDI and web based systems.
- Liaison responsibilities between Reps, Distributors, WP Sales Managers as well as Warehouse, Finance, Operations and Purchasing Departments.
- Data entry of customer orders, change orders and sample requests.
- Maintain customer sales orders and weekly customer open order reports and forecasts.
- Set up new customer accounts including completing file maintenance form, issue of credit application/references and credit approval follow up.
- Process of credit card/COD and Prepay orders.
- Maintain the department’s customer files.
- Assist the Accounting Department in the collection of past due invoices.
- Frequent follow up with sales force to provide samples, quotes and literature.
- Maintain ongoing customer pricing and quoting.
- Meet daily deadlines of various departments within the company.
- Maintain customer commission splits, OEM information, Sales ID Codes and MSP data.
- Issue customer RMA’s, Bill Backs, Credit Memos and Price Adjustments as required.
- Work closely with in-house Purchasing Department regarding forecasts and forthcoming sales.
- Assist Sales Managers with customer coverage while on travel.
- Coverage of other Inside Sales positions as needed.
- Manage customer expedites and interface with all affected departments.
- Coordinate with Warehouse and Sales personnel on containment of suspect products.
- Fully manage price changes to include internal and external communications with internal paperwork, electronic data and inter-company communications.
- Ensure compliance with special customer handling requests such as labeling, routing, transportation etc.
- Assist Purchasing Department in maintaining proper inventory levels.
- Assist in team building and special projects as needed, which may include assisting other departments, such as the Purchasing Department.
REQUIREMENTS:
Ideal candidate must:
- Be a quick learner with the ability to easily multi-task.
- Positive, can-do demeanor with strong people skills.
- Be detail oriented and have solid organizational skills.
- Comfortable with MS Office Suite on PC network.
- Minimum 2 year degree, 4 year degree a plus.
- Electronics background preferred, familiarity with sales a plus.

POSITION:
Antenna Design Engineer

REPORTS TO:
WP Wireless Senior Electrical Engineer
POSITION OUTLINE:
- Perform the majority of R&D functions in the company’s antenna laboratory
- Will work under direct supervision of WP-Wireless Senior Electrical Engineer
- Ideal candidate will be a self starter that enjoys working in a dynamic team environment
- Interact with customers and manufacturing factories on a project-by-project basis
REQUIREMENTS:
- B.S. Electrical Engineering required
- M.S. Electrical/Electonics - emphasis Electromagnetics/Antennas preferred
- Minimum 2 years in depth antenna design expertise
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Must possess a good understanding and have hands on experience working with
- Anechoic 2D/3D chambers
- Strong antenna and electromagnetic fundamentals with proven antenna design
- capabilities
- Ability to readily troubleshoot OTA performance issues relating to PTCRB and other certifications
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and modeling/simulating antennas using Ansoft HFSS
- required
- Experience modeling/building mechanics in SolidWorks or Pro/Engineer
- Skill to interpret and analyze antenna application notes is required.
- Must have the ability to effectively interface with customers as required
- Ability and willingness to travel 10% of the time domestically and internationally
ADDITIONAL AREAS OF EXPERIENCE A PLUS:
Designing multiband antennas, low frequency antennas below 400 MHz, active antenna modules, antennas with high isolation under tight space constraints, operating a milling machine and using a base station simulator

POSITION:
Mechanical Engineer

REPORTS TO:
WP Wireless Senior Electrical Engineer
POSITION OUTLINE
- Will be responsible for creating detailed drafts for most of the WP Wireless product portfolio. These drafts will contain all the necessary BOM information and should be detailed enough so the WP Wireless factories can correctly interpret them. Should be experienced in creating Gerber files.
- Will be interacting with WP Wireless Factories, overseas, on a daily basis. Should step up, take ownership and solve any Technical problems that are mechanical related, whenever they arise.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years experience of in-depth Mechanical Design & Quality control expertise for Antennas / Antenna Systems / Radars / Reflector Antennas / Microwave Components is required. Must have a B.S in Mechanical Engineering. M.S in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- Very proficient in creating complex designs utilizing the 3D & 2D CAD Packages such as, ProEngineer, Solidworks, AutoCAD & CAM350. Should specialize in developing novel designs for Antenna Radomes, RF connector/cable arrangement & the entire assembly. Proven experience developing marketable & sturdy mechanical models for different types of Antennas such as, Dipoles, Whips, Patches, PIFA’s, Omni Antennas, Directional Antennas, Industrial/Infrastructure Antennas & Antenna Arrays is strongly preferred.
- Must have extensive Material selection knowledge, keeping in perspective the mechanical, electrical & environmental constraints.. Should be very knowledgeable about implementing mechanical/environmental Test procedures at a factory or at any manufacturing facility or assembly line, so as to ensure proper Production Quality control.
- Extensive knowledge about different manufacturing technologies is a necessity. Familiarity with manufacturing costs for different technologies is required. Will work hand in hand with WP Wireless Sr. Electrical and Sales personnel in selecting the right materials for the Antenna build & in conducting appropriate cost analysis. This position reports directly to the WP-Wireless Senior Electrical Engineer.
- Must be able to effectively interface with customers whenever required. Should possess good communication skills. Must be a self starter who enjoys working in a Dynamic Team Environment. Should be a complete team player & willing to mentor junior Mechanical Engineers.
- Willing and able to travel (both domestically & Internationally). About 10-20% of travel.
Additional Skills (preferred but not mandatory)
- Contacts with several Prototyping houses in USA and abroad for different manufacturing technologies.
- Experience designing Antennas & modeling Antennas in Ansoft HFSS or any other EM Simulation software.
- Experience operating a LPKF or a Milling machine.
- Pendant & Publishing.
